saved me 100s of dollars to find out that my engine light was on due to a loose fuel tank cap :-) , All I had to do is replace the fuel tank cap, a total cost of $25!!!
Buen equipo. Funciona muy bien.
It'll tell you what Codes are causing you issues. Then Google and fix em yourself. Dave a Fortune !
I used this to check why my check engine light was on, it was a PD1035 bad 02 sensor... after i found that info, i was scrolling around and just mashing the buttons to see what else this thing did then I decided to erase my code to do a new scan not knowing that erase was really meaning clear the code from the cars system and turn off the check engine light...lol then i tried to re-scan and it said there were no codes so I'm my mind I was thinking... "awesome, now I don't have to fix the sensor!" nope.. I went to lunch and by the time I returned the check engine light was back on and I got the same code again so now I have to fix it the right way and replace the sensor lol... oh well.. but yeah, erasing the codes is not the machines fault and in no way does any harm or cause you to have to go to a mechanic...just go for a drive and re check the system.
